We had a snake die today. Dusty took him to the vet because his head was swollen. They thought it ws an infection and that fluid needed to be drained from his head. When they went it, they couldn't find anything wrong. When Dusty went to pick him up today, he had just died. They are going to do a (necropsy) basically an autopsy to see what was wrong with it. Please keep your fingers crossed that it is not anything contagious that would infect the other snakes.
Thanks.

Hilarious Story from Jeremy
A father watched his young daughter playing in the garden. He smiled as he reflected on how sweet and pure his little girl was. Tears formed in his eyes as he thought about her seeing the wonders of nature through such innocent eyes. Suddenly she just stopped and stared at the ground. He went over to her to see what work of God had captured her attention. He noticed she was looking at two spiders mating.
"Daddy, what are those two spiders doing?" she asked.
"They're mating" her father replied.
"What do you call the spider on top?" she asked.
"That's a Daddy Longlegs" her father answered.
"So, the other one is a Mommy Longlegs?" the little girl asked.
As his heart soared with joy of such a cute and innocent question, he replied: "No dear. Both of them are Daddy Longlegs."
The little girl, looking a little puzzled, thought for a moment, then, took her foot and stomped them flat. "Well, we're not having any of that gay crap In our garden!!."

A Message from a Proud Dad! (Jeremy)
A Milestone for the Logsdon's
We've been richly blessed most recently with the new addition of Jackson to our family, but perhaps yesterday could have been truly even a greater milestone. At dinner yesterday my two year old, Isaac, says to me, "Hey Dad - pull my finger". He then proceeds to let a real one rip with the greatest degree of concentration on his face. It was his first time actually pulling it off. Children really do bring joy into your life. Learning to walk, saying their ABC's, and finally now Isaac successfully have me pull his finger. What a great life I have.

Brotherly Love
Yesterday Jeremy called and had Isaac start singing the alphabet to me. I can't believe he know the whole song!!! That is so amazing. Well, I was at work in the hallway and I had my phone on speaker and I had to rush out into the lobby because people were peeking out look at whose phone that was. I was talking to him and then Kayla got on the phone. After we were done talking I told Kayla to give her brother a big hug and a kiss from me because he did such a good job. Jeremy gets on the phone and says, "Do you hear that?" I heard Isaac in the background saying, "No, no, no." Miss Kayla was doing what I told her to do and was going to give her brother a hug and a kiss from me. The next thing I heard was two kids screaming and crying. Kayla had tried to hug and kiss Isaac for me and Isaac didn't want her to and popped her a good one.
I felt so bad for Kayla...but it was really funny too! I'll never ask her to do that again.

My V-day Flowers
My Singing Telegram
One of my Valentines present's from Dusty was a singing telegram. It was a young women's fundraiser and so he had them come to our house on V-day and sing to me. There were three girls and two of them just stared at the ground and sang really soft...I KNOW they did not want to be doing that. The other girl was way into it and was doing steps and arm motions and I was cracking up. They sang LOVE Was Made for You and Me...or whatever that song is called.
After they left I looked at Dusty and said, "Wow! That was weird." I didn't even realize that that was straight out of the movie Elf when Will Farrell shows up as a Chrstmasgram and the dad says, "Wow! That was weird."
And one of the girls had a FAT sign on her that said, "I am a singing telegram" and she looked so embarrassed. I am glad Dusty did it because it helps them get to camp and we are in a poor ward as it is. That was something that I definitely won't forget.

A Message from the New Daddy!
Here's what the world has been waiting for - another Logsdon! Jackson Abram Logsdon was born Friday February 10, 2006. He and Mom are doing great. Makayla and Isaac are really excited to have him home. When they were first able to come up to the hospital, they saw Jackson getting his bath in the nursurey before they saw Chauntel in the the room. When I took them into the room, Isaac ran in the room and yelled as loud as he could, "Mom, Baby Jackson came out!" You know, in case she forgot.

Long Time No Post...
I have had a crazy schedule lately and no time to blog. We got a new car finally and I will post pictures soon. They had total out my other car that I loved so much...sucky... It's a 03' Hyaundi Sonota and it's pretty slick looking and it has low miles.
As soon as we left the car lot Dusty made me/us go buy a couch set. I can't handle two big purchases in the same day. We sat on the couch in the store FOREVER and I was telling him all the reasons I felt we needed to wait (money...) and he was telling me all off the reasons why he was ignoring my reasons and going with his own (comfort).
Anyway, I love the couch set and I will post pictures of them too. It comes with a cool ottoman, table, storage thing...
I have to run cause I am just taking a break at work and I will post again soon.
