Grammy's Visit

Oh how I loved having my mother visit me (...us...OK, Colton!) She is the best Grammy in the world. She just knows what to do for me and for him and it was wonderful having her come and visit this week. I miss her so much already. Here are a few pics from her trip.

Colton, what else?!

Happy One Month Birthday, Colton!

You sure did rock your mommy and daddy's world in these past 30 days! You came into this world with a bang and have kept us on our toes and out of our beds!! Mommy and Daddy LOVE YOU so much and are so thankful to have your sweet spirit in our home. I can't wait to see what other joys and memories your spirit will bring to us. You have grown SO much and are eating like a champ. Mommy did a happy dance in the wee hours of the morning because you took a bottle of mommy's milk from dad like a champ :-) That means a little more sleep for me, so thanks!!

You have grown so much this past month, packin' on the pounds and learning how this old world works one day at a time. You still have your days and nights mixed up a bit and you got the lucky colic and some reflux but you are not letting that keep you down. As a matter of fact you are letting that keep you (and everyone else) up!! You are a born optimist!! Oh, and you love Christmas trees. At night when no one can sleep and you are (somewhat :-) calm) you love to have mom or dad sing to you while you are wrapped up tight and sucking on a paci OR be put in your swing while the twinkling lights help you drift to La La Land and mommy zonks out for an HOUR on the couch.

You have had SO many people come to see you and ooh and ahhh over your absolute CUTENESS! Your mommy can't keep up with all of the people she has to send thank you cards too for their kindness in coming to visit, giving you gifts and keeping tabs on how you are doing.

This has been the most challenging thing that your mother and father have ever done so far, but we wouldn't change it for the world. We are eternally grateful you chose to come to our family and allow us the privilege to raise you and love you. Here's to many more months of that love!!!
