My Schedule Today...

Woke up at 5:15 AM was at my workout class by 5:50 am. Did weights and sculpting for an hour. Came home read scriptures, a chapter of a book, got dinner in the crock pot got ready for work etc. by 9am. Watched devotional with President Eyring for a break at work. Came home from work around 5:45 pm....this is where it gets bad.....ate two bowls of taco soup and cheesecake AND THEN went to another workout class at 8 pm. BAD IDEA!!! I felt s-i-c-k the entire time. At any moment I was a time bomb ready to explode. What possessed me to eat all of that before a workout? I am an idiot plain and simple. It won't be happening again that is fo sho.

Overall today was a great day though. On Tues / Thurs I will be working out at 6 am and then again at 8pm with another workout class on Sat mornings. It feels so good to get up and do that. I can tell that I won't be getting up as early tomorrow. And I can also tell that my body will be mega sore, but I am excited to try this out and see how it goes. I really want to train my body to be an early riser (yeah I know what you are thinking, dad...)

Now I just have to try to eat healthier. I really want to try hard. What are some of your tips for healthy eating on the go?

Suboc.com Pre-order Sales

Dusty has updated his website and is now taking pre-ordering his book. We had pre-order sales within minutes of his updating and adding the PayPal links. It's so exciting to be a part of this process and to see Dusty (and me!!) working so hard for this to come to fruition.

We have had US and International orders and we are crossing our fingers that his book will be ready for a show in Dallas next month. If that is indeed the case we will be able to go see the Logsdon clad in McKinney, TX. :-) Dusty is scheduled to give a presentation and premier his book at a Dallas show in Feb.

Check out the site!
It's exciting! Way to go Dusty for making this dream come true!

Secret Twilight Club Post

OK. I won't say much on here because I know that some of you that read this haven't read or don't want to read the Twilight book series so I won't go into detail to give spoilers away. If you want I will have individual conversations with those wanting to discuss. And yes, Melissa, I have finished the books so now you can continue spoiling it for me. (BTW the more I read, the more I was bummed that you told me...........just wait until I find out what book you are reading. I am going to look it up on the Internet and text, email, call and blog and tell you chapter by chapter what happens...muahhh ha ha)

However, I will say this:
  • If humans were as stubborn, (at times) stupid and just down right indecisive as Bella I would gladly give my soul to the vampire race or at least the Cullens....*****I need to clarify that I actaully really like Bella, a lot! I just needed to vent after I read a certain section.....****
  • If all wolves were as annoying as Jacob, I would gladly take up hunting.
  • If all humans were as amazing as Edward, there would be nothing but love and happiness in this world and women would be royally treated as they should be. Humans should take a page out of the Cullen's book.
I have loved reading these books but glad they are over (for now) in a sense. For starters, I can get back to my life!! I have been so engrossed in these books it's crazy. Also, maybe I can stop having these dreams with vampires and werewolves in them. It's funny cause I actually have two really long scratches on my forearm that look like the claw of a werewolf and two marks on my neck like vampires!! Seriously, I have had vampire dreams for a week at least.

Domestic Goddess

So I really feel like a domestic goddess. Last night I took some leftover turkey and made a home made turkey pot pie. But it didn't stop there! Oh no! I made it with a homemade pie crust. It turned out perfect!! I love it when that happens.

Here is the recipe I used. It is way easy and I added a 1/2t. of each of the following spices: poultry seasoning, paprika, dried parsley, and garlic powder.
