News from the mark

Woo Hoo Woo Hoo!!! Dusty is finito with work for the summer! He did good and is just happy for it to be over. We are heading out to St. George, Utah tomorrow for some camping before his school get back in session on Tuesday. We didn't have any camping gear so we bought a tent today and sleeping bags, a fishing pole (for catching lizzards of course!?!), a camping chair, some mats for under our sleeping bags and some other stuff.

Then we went to BYU and bought his school books and ooh we got Studio 8 Suite for the computer. It has like Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, and some other software in it so we are going to put up some pretty sweet Web sites!! I think it will take a lot of practice but we will do it.

We have been doing Turbo Jam everyday and we LOVE IT! Dusty and I have lost two pounds and we are going to keep going!!

That's all the news for now. I got caught on the computer so I have to get off and help clean out the car and pack! :)

Gross Story....

OK. You know how if you stick your tounge on an ice cube it sticks to it? Well, I was eating a fruit pop that I guess was too cold and it stuck to my lip so I pulled it and a piece of my lip came off with it!! It hurt so I looked at the popsicle and my skin was stuck to it and my lip was bleeding!

Ewwww.

My Birthday!

Well today I am the big 2-5! It doesn't feel any different. I just wanted to post and put a big thank you to everyone that gave me loves on my birthday. I talked to everyone in Dusty's family (well, almost everyone--there's too frickin many of them to count...) My sister called, my poppie and mommy called, La left me the BESTEST MESSAGE EVER on my phone (click below). Let's see, Rob and Julie had us over for dinner and fabuloso cake, my friend Big Momma C came over and gave me some muffins that she made and made the coolest card I have ever seen in my life. Seriously, this card gets a post of it's own...coming soon.

I had a great day. I didn't even take my Sunday nap! I love you guys and thank you for making my birthday a great one!

MY BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER! (turn the volume up to hear sweet little Makayla sing to me!)

Hairy Fruit

OK. I have often had peach flavored drinks, candy, ice cream or a number of other things but I have never just eaten a peach. They gross me out. They are hairy! Who in the world would want to eat a really hairy piece of food? Last night Dusty and our neighbors Marcie and Trent had me try a peach. I didn't just bite into it though. Trent peeled it and chopped it up for me. And guess what, I LOVED it! It was so good. I ate the whole bowl. I even wanted more. It was amazing. They bought them from a farmers market so it was grown locally--they tell me store bought peaches suck.

Dusty always tells me that I am deprived or just weird because there are A LOT of fruits and veggies that I have never eaten before. A few weeks ago I tried my first cherry and I liked it. I have never had a plum, pear, apricot, cantaloupe, honey dew melon---I just had a frozen mango the other day....

I don't think that it's weird that I haven't tried those things. When I was growing up I just stuck to the tried and true things that I liked like apples, oranges and sometimes bananas. (For some reason I went through like a 14 year stint to where I hated bananas, but I am eating them a lot now....) I love kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries (yummy!) and a lot of other fruit.

Does anyone else have a fruit and veggie thing to where you haven't tried or just don't like stuff that other people think is "normal"?

Webster Family Blog!!

Yeah! Melissa is keeping a blog now!!! Who hoo!

Check it out at: http://webster-family.blogspot.com/

I am back in Utah!

Wow! What a trip! I had the most fun than I have had in a LONG time. Everyday was packed full of things to do. I LOVED being able to go and see Blake and Evan. It was so sad to leave them and everyone else.

I got to spend the night with Lissa a lot and time with her Evan and Nate. I got to go out with Mike Charla and Blake. Mom and I ran around all of the time together. I got to give dad a lot of crap in person! :) I got to see Jason at the house and got a funny card (which I will be posting...) I had tons of fun and LOVED every second of it.

I will be posting some stuff shortly about my trip, but most all of the pictures will be on the Logsdon Family Photo Blog.
