Expanding my horizons....

OK. I have posted before about how I haven't tried much fruit. Well, now you can add two more to my list. :) YAY! I had a plum and a mango and I liked them both.

Here is a list of all of the fruit I have in my house at the moment:
  • bananas
  • strawberries
  • apples
  • plums
  • cherries
  • plums
  • oranges
  • watermelon
  • grapefruit
  • mango
....and I have been eating all of it! For those of you who know my eating habits you know that this is a big feat. I also have two bags of mixed berries and fruit. Angela, I wish I lived by you and I would be taking some of your berries too :)

OK. What is the next fruit I should try?

Apricots but only if they are ripe. You need to try different kinds of apples too. Red delicious are ok, I'm on a granny smith kick now. Reed loves galas and fuji. I also like pink ladies. BUT the key with buying apples to me is to press on them and make sure they give pressure back and "crisp" so you know its crunchy. Nectarines and peaches are good right now. Again, figuring how to tell if they are ripe is key so you know you're liking or not liking it fairly. Thats all I can think of for now. Enjoy!

I am soooo proud of you. you are a goober. I also love Gala apples, they are my absolute favorite. try a nectarine. they are kind of like peaches. they are soooo good. Have you ever had a ruby red grapefruit? They are super good too.

usually you can tell if any fruit is ripe by smelling. If you can't smell anything, then it may be good but it is not at it's peak. If it smells really sweet and makes your mouth water, then you know it is ripe and sweet.

I like peaches. You can also throw them very far.
