New Additions to our Home
We have been slowly actually decorating our house. We only have really been concentrating on the living room, next is the kitchen etc. etc. We are really happy with what we have done. (more pics soon) Here are a few pictures of our tv armoire and new quilt. We are doing a rustic country theme in our home. It's amazing the feeling that you get even when you make just a few changes. It's fun actually creating a home with a homey feeling :-)

Thanks for stopping by the blog. It is so nice to meet someone who loves great books like I do. Okay, I am DYING to know one thing. Did you say facepainting is one of th ethings you have done on date night? Do tell. I would have NEVER thought of that !
I love your new furniture and I love the quilt!! It's exactly what you were looking for. Well at least what you described to me what you were looking for. I love it when you find something that you are looking for. Sometimes it takes a while but it's worth it.

I like the look! When Robert saw the armoire he said... that's totally Texan!
Yeah, Robert and Heather, we ordered that armoire from a company in Texas that sells imported, rustic Mexican furniture (which is very "West Texan"). No matter where you live, you've got to make it feel like home, so we brought a little piece of Texas to us. :-)
I wanted us to find a second quilt that has something Kentucky-related. Tough to find. Maybe KFC sells blankets on their site? :)
