Seeing God, she asked, "Is my time up?" God said,
"No, you have another 43 years, two months and eight days to live."
Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a facelift, liposuction and tummy tuck. Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well look good.
Following her final cosmetic operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was struck and killed by an ambulance.
Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another 40 years? Why didn't you pull me out of the path of that ambulance?"
God replied, "Girrrl, I didn't even recognize you!!!"
DAY 1
Buy chicken breasts in bulk and freeze individual portions in plastic bags. The meat will keep longer, and you'll have dinner for two ready to go without having to defrost all of the chicken
Calculate which daily commute saves you both time and money. If two different driving routes take the same amount of time, compare mileage to find out which route saves you more on gas
Create a stir-fry to combine all your veggies before they expire. This meal only takes minutes to prepare, and you can add chicken or beef for added protein. You won't waste rapidly expiring produce, and you'll have a quick meal in a pinch.
Gas up your car before you hit the highway. The worst place to get gas is at an interstate exit, where you can expect cost increases of about 20 cents more per gallon. You'll end up overpaying over five dollars for a fill-up!
Buy a grocery gift card in the amount of your allotted monthly food spending. You'll keep track of your spending for the month and save time at the checkout line.
Freeze! Stockpile food in your freezer to save money on your grocery bill. And since a full freezer is actually cheaper to run than an almost empty one, you'll also save on your electricity bill!
Renew your library books and CDs over the phone. You'll save time by not making an extra trip to the library, and avoid needless overdue fees.
